Siena and UAlbany softball teams are headed to the NCAA Tournament
It was a great weekend for both the U-Albany and Siena softball teams! Both were able to win their Conference Championships and now both are headed to the NCAA Softball Tournament.
Siena was able to secure their first ever MAAC championship sending them to the NCAA Austin Regional in Austin, Texas where they will take on top seeded Texas Longhorns this Friday! U-Albany is headed to the Bryan-College Station Region and will play Texas A&M, also this Friday.
For the Great Danes, this is their first America East title since 2018 and their eighth overall. As we mentioned earlier, this is the first time in program history that The Saints have won a MAAC title.
