While most kids enjoy a week off, these young artists are transforming the hallways
The last place most kids want to be while on a break from school is... school. But for these middle schoolers at North Albany Middle School are painting a nice surprise for when their fellow students return from winter vacation.
Two professional painters, David Sherrod and Ramiro Davaro-Comas are guiding the ten students as they paint murals on two large walls. Aside incorporating the school's mascot, the kids did all the designing of the mural. Eleven year old Robert Hart is one of the students participating. He talked to News 10:
It's like a new learning experience for me and like, its a bit nerve-racking
The mural contains messages of inspiration, hope, acceptance and love.
