Two were shut down by the state last week, another announced its closure on Monday
Just last week, two Downtown Saratoga restaurants closed permanently. The New York State Department of Tax and Finance seized The District and Nashville of Saratoga for non-payment of taxes. Both restaurants are under the same owner.
On Monday, another restaurant announced it will close permanently. 30 Lake (formerly Fish) at 30 Lake Avenue, said in a Facebook post that due to circumstances beyond their control, the eatery is now closed. No specific reason was given, though News 10 reached out to the owners Jodi Leuchten and Ronald Farber, but have not heard back. They were also the owners of R&R Kitchen and Bar on Phila Street, which closed in 2019.
In their post, the restaurant owners thanked their loyal customers for their support.
