We hear the stories every year about these turkey fryer mishaps. When used improperly, a turkey fryer can lead to devastating injuries as well as damage to your home or surroundings. CBS 6 posted a video showing exactly how quickly a fire can get out of control. The following was performed in a safe setting by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention and Control.
