20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Megan Ryder of Amsterdam
Megan is the owner of Megabites Catering, where she has made countless people feel special on their important occasions, from weddings to birthdays and small gatherings. In addition to running a successful catering business, Megan is always giving back to her community in a variety of ways. Whether it’s contributing to fundraisers, volunteering at events, organizing coat drives, offering free pictures with Santa for kids, or making generous donations, Megan’s presence is always felt.
Despite juggling multiple businesses, including a recently opened second business, Anthony's Deli in Amsterdam (named after her son), Megan never misses an opportunity to show up and give. Her son was diagnosed with a debilitating disease at a young age, and doctors didn’t expect him to live long, but he recently celebrated his 16th birthday—an inspiring testament to Megan’s unwavering strength and devotion to her family.
Megan’s positivity and compassionate spirit radiate in every interaction. Her tireless work ethic, combined with her deep commitment to her community, make her an outstanding role model and a shining example of compassion and dedication to local business and causes.
