20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Jodi Eaves of Clifton Park
Jodi was instrumental in founding and running Hi-5 Sports, a program offering free sports activities to individuals with special needs, ages 5 and up. The program includes soccer, basketball, baseball, bowling, and golf, and is fully funded through grants and donations, ensuring that all participants and their families incur no costs. Jodi coordinates volunteers for six seasons of sports, designs and orders gear for participants, and organizes fundraising events, such as an annual bowling fundraiser.
In addition to her work with Hi-5, Jodi provides emotional and practical support to families, particularly those facing significant struggles. She arranges family-friendly activities, such as free tickets to local games, cookouts, and social events. Despite her demanding full-time career as an engineer and raising an adult son with special needs, Jodi manages to juggle these responsibilities with grace and a positive attitude.
Jodi’s selfless dedication to supporting individuals with special needs and their families makes her an outstanding community leader and a deserving candidate for recognition as one of B95’s 20 Outstanding Women.
