20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Mary Beth McCullen of South Glens Falls
Mary Beth, a remarkable self-employed mom, runs the nonprofit Ian's Reach, named after her late son. Despite a busy schedule and raising a teenager and three grandchildren, she tirelessly volunteers at Ian's Reach, providing clothing and household items to those in need. Anyone can request specific items or visit the shop by appointment. Mary Beth often goes the extra mile, delivering items to those without transportation. Juggling multiple jobs, she recently assisted high school students by providing clothing and dresses for a dance and covering tickets for those in need. After losing her son Ian tragically nine years ago, Mary Beth established a scholarship in his memory. Ian's Reach not only donates items but sells some to fund the scholarship. Despite personal loss, Mary Beth's selflessness shines through as she dedicates herself to helping others, making her an exceptional and humble individual in the community.
Nominated by Lauren Chapman, Lisa Ford & Kassondra Torchetti
