Your first chance to take a dip in Lake George, Saratoga Lake, Grafton Lakes and more!

As summer nears, several Capital Region beaches are set to open for the season. Here's a summary of their opening dates and hours:

Moreau Lake State Park (Gansevoort): Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Amenities include a snack bar and equipment rentals during this period.

Brown’s Beach (Saratoga Lake): Scheduled to open on Saturday, May 24, 2025  DELAYED UNTIL SATURDAY MAY 31 with daily hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM through Labor Day Weekend.

Million Dollar Beach (Lake George): Opening on May 24, 2025, and available daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM until September 1.

Thompson’s Lake (Thacher State Park): Swimming permitted on weekends from May 23 to June 19, 2025, and daily from June 23 to September 1, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:45 PM.

Grafton Lakes State Park (Grafton): Swimming at Long Pond is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The park offers a sandy beach, lifeguards, and various recreational activities.
