Suzy Bogguss' Sweet Voice Headed To Cohoes, NY

Suzy Bogguss has had a couple of recent years filled with milestone memories!  The 90s radio staple is still singing and smiling in 2026- and proving she’s still one of the sweetest voices in Country Music.

In addition to a ‘soup’ recipe book, she sang her way around the country and continued to host her ever-popular ‘Wine Down Wednesday’ on Social Media; a virtual concert series she started during the pandemic.

No doubt, the highlight of her year was her induction into the Grand Ole Opry.  The career-defining event was made even sweeter by having her friend Kathy Mattea present the honors.  Furthermore, she appeared and performed original songs in an independent film based in her hometown, titled ‘Everything Fun You Could Possibly Do In Aledo, Illinois’.

An appearance in the Hallmark Grand Ole Opry Christmas movie with Pam Tillis, and several show dates around the country kept this beautiful voice in the Spotlight all year.

In addition to her recent success, Suzy's catalog of hits has stood the test of time! Radio favorites like 'Aces' 'Hey Cinderella' 'Outbound Plane' 'Letting Go' and 'Drive South' are considered 90s blockbusters, and have been complimented by critically acclaimed modern works like Swing, Lucky and Sweet Danger. Not to mention, she's one of the few artists to score a rare Christmas Classic, 'Two Step 'Round The Christmas Tree'.

If you’ve never seen Suzy Bogguss, we encourage you to see why she has become one of the most beloved and memorable female voices in Country Music. The newest member of the Grand Ole Opry appears as the next guest in the Close-Up Series at the Cohoes Music Hall on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
