We have a couple smoky days to deal with.
You could probably smell it before you stepped outside Wednesday morning. Smoke from Canadian wildfires has once again blanketed the Albany area and much of New York State. In what is forecast to be a mostly sunny day, the smoke will obscure the the sun leaving an amber-ish haze in the area Wednesday into Thursday.

The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert, where the Capital Region is considered 'unhealthy for sensitive groups'. Central and Western NY are in a more serious 'unhealthy' tier.

The heavy smoke is coming from wildfires burning in Ontario, Canada near the Minnesota border. There re reports of more than 85 wildfires in that area.
