The new store is expected to open in 2027
Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland has announced the iconic clothing and fashion retailer Abercrombie and Fitch will open a new store at the shopping center in 2027. In addition, Abercrombie Kids will also debut as part of the new store.
Abercrombie has been absent from the Capital Region shopping scene since their last store in Crossgates Mall closed several years ago. Stuyvesant Plaza General Manager Rachel Ferluge said Abercrombie and Fitch has long been on shopper's wish list.
We listened, and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome this iconic brand back to the Capital Region. And the addition of abercrombie kids making its debut here - that's something truly special for our community.
No specific opening date was mentioned, however the location of the new store will be on the south side of the plaza, taking the place of 5th Corner Goods, which is expected to move next to Bountiful Bread.
