Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Nettie Crossman of Guilderland
Nettie's impact on her community and the lives she's touched is truly extraordinary. From dedicating more than 50 years to helping those in need, to her leadership roles in Safe Inc. of Schenectady and Alpha Kappa Alpha, she has consistently shown an unwavering commitment to serving others. Her leadership, both as Board President at Safe Inc. and as former President of the local chapter of AKA, speaks volumes about her ability to guide organizations toward their missions and to empower others.
Her nearly 40 years in education as a teacher, librarian, and advisor for musical programs also highlights her versatility and dedication to shaping the lives of young people. It’s clear that Nettie’s influence extends far beyond the professional world; her ability to balance leadership, family, and friendships is remarkable.
The selflessness and generosity she's demonstrated throughout her career, along with the way she’s empowered others, make her not only an incredible role model but also a true pillar of her community. The impact she’s had on so many is something that will be felt for generations to come.
