20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Jennifer Pendleton of Ballston Lake
Jen incredible person, someone who leads with heart and inspires everyone around her to be better. Whether it's through her tireless volunteer work with the American Cancer Society, her leadership at Girl Fight Fitness, or just her everyday actions, her kindness and passion shine through in everything she does.
Jen dedicates so much energy and time to supporting important causes—especially the way she’s organized impactful events including multiple food collections, adopting families during the holidays and the clothing swap during Domestic Abuse Awareness month where they accept gently used women's clothing to Great Finds of Albany. Great Finds is open to the public but also works with Equinox to help domestic abuse victims clothing to begin a new life.
Her ability to motivate others, not only through her words but through her actions, makes her a natural leader. It’s clear that people gravitate toward her because of her genuine spirit and the positive, uplifting energy she exudes.
The way Jen encourages people in the gym, pushing them to do "one more" and helping them become stronger both physically and mentally, is such a perfect reflection of her character. Her ability to blend strength and compassion, both in fitness and in her community work, is something truly special. She's making a meaningful difference in so many lives.
