20 Outstanding Women!
We found the women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live. Those unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – the ones who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Today's Outstanding Woman is,
Allison Nolan of Saratoga Springs
Allison Nolan is a dedicated Support Specialist and Case Manager at Shelters of Saratoga, where she has served her community with distinction for nearly six years. A steadfast advocate for individuals experiencing homelessness, Allison brings both professional expertise and profound compassion to every aspect of her work.
What sets Allison apart is her commitment to meeting clients exactly where they are not just figuratively, but literally. Through street outreach, community clean-ups, and direct engagement at encampments, she immerses herself in the realities faced by those she serves. This hands-on, boots-on-the-ground approach allows her to build the genuine, trust-based relationships that form the foundation of meaningful support. Rather than waiting for individuals to come to her, she goes to them, ensuring that help reaches even those most at risk of falling through the cracks.
As both a skilled systems navigator and a compassionate listener, Allison offers far more than resources. She provides something equally vital: human connection and dignity. Her work reflects a deep-seated belief in the potential of every individual, and that belief consistently translates into real, transformative outcomes for the clients she serves.
Allison's impact extends beyond individual lives. Over nearly six years, her dedication has strengthened the broader fabric of the Saratoga community, making it more resilient, inclusive, and compassionate. She exemplifies the kind of quiet, essential leadership that does not seek recognition but, without question, deserves it.
