Violations such as passing a stopped school bus, reckless driving, and using a cell phone while driving will result in higher points on a driver's record. The time frame for points to reset will also be extended from 18 to 24 months. Senior associate Aaron Pam notes that challenging infractions will become trickier, with fewer opportunities to reduce points or avoid license suspension.
