There were reports of shots fired on Tuesday afternoon.
Update 4:31pm: Video from News 10 shows at least two SWAT team vehicles as well as numerous police vehicles at the complex.
Update 3:58pm: CBS 6 says some residents were evacuated from the building this afternoon and have not yet been able to return into their homes.
Update 3:48pm: The Times Union spoke to a resident of the complex who came across police with guns drawn in a stairwell around 11:15 this morning. He said police asked him if they could use his apartment to surveil another apartment in the building. Police and a SWAT team remain on the scene.
The Times Union is reporting a heavy police presence at the Harmony Mills apartment complex in the city of Cohoes. There were reports of shots fired in the vicinity of the complex before 2pm. Officers from the Cohoes Police Department are being backed up by the neighboring Colonie Police. North Mohawk Street is currently closed in the area. More information as it becomes available.
