The bear has been seen a few times in the past 2 days
If you're around the Latham Farms area, you're going to want to keep your eyes open for a black bear that has been seen a couple times.
Initially the bear was seen near the Northway by Latham Farms then spotted again later that same day wandering around the back parking lot. It was also spotted near Red Robin which is located near Latham Farms right on Route 9 in Latham.
The D.E.C. has been informed as have the Colonie Police and Animal Control. They are monitoring the bear and advise people to stay away if you see it.
