Harbor Freight Tools will be expanding their footprint in the Capital Region with a new store in Schenectady. The tool retailer has begun construction on their new location at the Crosstown Commons shopping plaza on Watt Street. No specific opening date has been announced yet, but it is expected to open this winter.
Trey Feiler, the company's senior vice president of real estate and construction, tells the Daily Gazette the new hardware hardware store is expected to create upwards of 30 new jobs.
In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Schenectady area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.
