According to a spokesperson for the legendary singer, Tina Turner has passed away at age 83. Sky News quotes the source:
Tina Turner, the ‘Queen of Rock’n Roll’ has died peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness in her home in Kusnacht near Zurich, Switzerland.
Tina Turner’s career spanned decades, starting in the late 1950’s.
In recent years she had fallen to bad health, even receiving a kidney transplant in 2017. Her publicist says a private funeral will be held with close friends and family in the near future.
