Update 5/11/23 5:53pm: News 10 reports it was a small single engine Cessna that crashed shortly after it took off. There people were on board and have been taken to the hospital – their condition is unknown at this time. Both the FAA and NTSB are investigating.
CBS 6 and NewsChannel 13 are reporting that a plane has crashed at South Albany Airport in Selkirk. First responders are on the scene. CBS 6 says there are three people being attended to by medical personnel.
No word on what type of aircraft was involved or what may have caused the crash.
