Troy Waterfront Farmers Market Moves Outside for Summer

Starting Saturday (5/6) the famous farmers market in Troy returns to the heart of the city in Monument Square. The event has been known to draw over 15,000 people in a single day.

Over 100 farmers and fresh food vendors will be on hand as well as live music in a festival-like atmosphere. The farmers market will happen every Saturday from 9am to 2pm through the month of October.

Most vendors will be located along River Street, although there will be some set up on adjacent side streets as well. Road closures will be in effect beginning early in the morning lasting through late afternoon.
