20 Outstanding Women!
Todays Outstanding Woman is Barbara MacCormack from Kinderhook!
Barbara has been making a huge impact in her community by giving her time to providing necessities to those in need. She works with her local Hannaford to pick up car loads of breads, vegetables, and baked goods every week to donate to her local Salvation Army. She also volunteers are her local food pantry every week, and even took it upon herself to shop out of her own money to provide food for an additional food pantry in her area. Her kindness doesn’t end there…she also cooks meals for a woman who finds herself without permanent housing. She provides her with food, clothing, blankets, etc. to ensure that she survives live without shelter. She is a truly altruistic member of our community and we are honored to call her one of Hannaford Supermarket’s 20 Outstanding Women!
Thank you to all the Outstanding Women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live! The unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.
Each Outstanding Woman will be highlighted at on B95.5 with her own day of recognition, and will be invited to an exclusive celebration with all The 20 Outstanding Women!
