Todays Outstanding Woman is Carolyn Huston of Ballston Spa!
Carolyn is a master at volunteering. She is a part of her local school’s PTA and founded the Special ED PTA in the school district as well. She works full-time with people with special needs to help them with basic necessities like preparing taxes, and works with them to help achieve their dreams. She also volunteers with Parent to Parent, CSE and CPSE meetings, and Family Support Services Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Council on Native American Ministries, and the Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators Eastern New Region Executive Board – she is the author of 14 picture books! We are honored to call her one of Hannaford Supermarket’s 20 Outstanding Women!
Thank you to all the Outstanding Women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live! The unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.
Each Outstanding Woman will be highlighted at on B95.5 with her own day of recognition, and will be invited to an exclusive celebration with all The 20 Outstanding Women!
