20 Outstanding Women!

Todays Outstanding Woman is Amanda Kyle-Sprague of Latham!

Amanda runs the Crime Victims Unit at the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. That unit is tasked with informing and comforting the victims of crime, and in the worst cases, the loved ones of someone who is no longer with us. She has been volunteering and assisting her community from the beginning of her career. She has been a Job Coach for people with disabilities, coordinated a summer preschool program for underprivileged children with AmeriCorps, and worked as a Caseworker in the Department of Children Youth and Families. She remains incredibly involved in her community by volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region, participating in the Albany County Coalition Against Domestic Abuse and DCYF’s Multiple Disciplinary Team, and she is certified in RAD Basic for Women, RAD for Seniors, and radKIDS (self-defense programs). Amanda goes above and beyond in so many different ways and we are honored to call her one of Hannaford Supermarket’s 20 Outstanding Women!

Thank you to all the Outstanding Women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live! The unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.

Each Outstanding Woman will be highlighted at on B95.5 with her own day of recognition, and will be invited to an exclusive celebration with all The 20 Outstanding Women!
