20 Outstanding Women!
Todays Outstanding Woman is Elena Kilcullen of Albany!
Elena works at the Albany County Jail as the Assistant Director of Programs as the re-entry social worker. She helps formerly incarcerated people lead productive lives after their release. She is the co-chair of the Felony Youth Diversion Board for the Albany County District Attorney’s Office which finds ways to divert young people away from a life in the criminal justice system towards more productive lives. On top of that, she volunteers with the jail’s “SHIP” Program which provides temporary housing for the homeless. Despite her busy schedule, Elena finds time to work in her community to make it a better and safer place to live. We are honored to call her one of Hannaford Supermarket’s 20 Outstanding Women!
Thank you to all the Outstanding Women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live! The unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.
Each Outstanding Woman will be highlighted at on B95.5 with her own day of recognition, and will be invited to an exclusive celebration with all The 20 Outstanding Women!
