Todays Outstanding Woman is JoLynn Backes of Latham!
JoLynn is dedicated to bringing light to people’s darkest times. She supports victims of domestic and sexual violence by helping them navigate the complexities of the healthcare system, being there for every step of any legal processes, and just providing a compassionate ear when needed. She also works to guide young people to recognize, report, and respond to inappropriate behavior from bullying to manipulation to abuse. She encourages people of all ages to understand what it is to respect others, empathize, and identify what it is to be a good partner. She is incredibly kind and generous, and we are honored to call her one of Hannaford Supermarket’s 20 Outstanding Women!
Thank you to all the Outstanding Women who go above and beyond to make their communities a better place to live! The unsung heroes in our neighborhoods – those women who are already busy, yet find the time to give back in big ways to help others.
Each Outstanding Woman will be highlighted at on B95.5 with her own day of recognition, and will be invited to an exclusive celebration with all The 20 Outstanding Women!
