When you turn on the TV Monday morning, you might be treated to some familiar winter scenes from the North Country.
The Today Show will be in Lake George Monday for its ‘Today’s Winter Escape‘ series. According to NewsChannel 13, Lake George is the only true ‘winter’ location in the series, as most destinations have been in places with warmer weather.
The Glens Falls Post Star says the segment will air live from the veranda of the famous Fort William Henry Hotel at 8:30am. If you’d like to be part of the segment, you are invited to show up no later than 7:30am. NewsChannel 13’s own Chris Onorato will host the segment along with Lake George Mayor Bob Blais.
The Lake George Winter Carnival and the Ice Castles are expected to be featured as well as the many locally owned businesses and historical sites.
