Update 2/8/23 3:48pm: News 10 reports that a body found in an abandoned building at 70 Central Avenue in Albany has been identified as Sadie Kopyc. She was found Tuesday evening. The cause of death is not yet known, nor is the exact time of death. Strangely, on Monday Cohoes Police posted that she had been located in the city of Albany, but did not provide more details.
Cohoes Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a city woman who hasn’t been seen in over two weeks.
Police say 36 year old Sadie Kopyc was last seen in the city on January 20th. She’s described as white, 5’3″ tall and 150 pounds. They believe she may be in Albany or New York City.
