The largest night time Holiday Parade in the Northeast will celebrate it’s 53rd year in 2022 as the floats, dance troupes, marching bands and more make their way down State Street for the annual glorious celebration.
This year’s theme is DREAM BIG, bringing to life the aspirations that come from a child’s imagination – that should guarantee some pretty spectacular scenes this year!
The Rundown:
WHEN: Saturday, November 19th starting at 3pm with the pre-parade block party
WHERE: The pre-party takes place at State Street and Jay Street at 3pm. Parade begins at 5pm starting at SUNY Schenectady and heading all the way to Lafayette Street.
WHO: Over 70 performers, dance troupes, floats, bands, firetrucks and of course, SANTA!
Get there early for performances from Girl Blue, Ryan Cabrera and more on the main stage under the Proctors marquee as well as Holiday activities along Jay Street.
Bring the entire family as we welcome the Holiday season to the Capital Region! Here’s a look back at the big man, Santa himself at the 2021 parade…
